Breaking of Bread and Worship Service (9:30am)
Our Worship Service is held every Sunday 9:30-10:30am in an unstructured manner. During this time, we seek to remember the Lord Jesus Christ and the saving work He accomplished by His death and resurrection by celebrating the Lord’s Supper – the breaking of bread and sharing of wine – as He instructed (1 Corinthians 11:24-26).
The service is also spent in personal reflection, prayer, and the sharing of hymns and thoughts from the Word of God. Any brother, particularly those who are spiritually gifted in the public ministry of the Word, are encouraged to take part in audible worship. We seek to afford those brothers who are gifted in this way the opportunity to exercise this talent for public speaking.
Family Service and Sunday School (11:00am)
After a morning tea break, we come together again from 11:00am in a more family-friendly format to sing hymns and choruses and provide an opportunity for our younger members to participate. Our Sunday School programme is an integral part of this service, catering for primary to high school-aged youth. Each class is fully supervised and lessons are grounded in Biblical principles. While the children are enjoying their classes, parents and adults are welcome to stay to hear the Word preached by each week’s speaker. Visit our library to listen to past sermons.
Evening Service (6:00pm)
Starting at 6:00pm and run in a similar format to our Family Service (but without Sunday School), our Evening Service is perfect for those who can’t make the earlier meetings, or who just want to continue worshipping and hearing the Word preached in the company of other believers. We’re often privileged to host a range of guest speakers, topics, DVD screenings, and activities such as pizza nights unique to this time slot, so don’t miss out – we’d love to see you!
Prayer Meeting (7:30pm)
On the last Tuesday of each month we hold a prayer meeting.
Prayer is a relationship, wherein we humbly communicate, worship, and sincerely seek God’s face, knowing that He hears us and will respond, though not always in a manner we may expect or desire. Prayer can encompass confession, praise, adoration, supplication, intercession, and more. Our prayers must come often and regularly, not from legalistic duty, but from a humble heart, realising our dependence on God in every aspect of our lives. Prayer is pivotal and essential. Prayer is meant to line us up in His will and with His empowerment. Being faithful in prayer is the essential mechanism for reaching others with the faith. Nothing of value can accrue in you or through you without prayer.
Jesus set the supreme example of surrender and submission to the Father’s will when He prayed for God to spare Him from dying on the cross. Because He was fully human, Jesus was fearful and reluctant to experience the agony of the crucifixion. Because He was fully God, He could have refused to die, but instead, in humble obedience and submission, He prayed to His Father, ‘may Your will be done.’
On the surface, death by crucifixion seemed to end Christ’s ministry. In reality, His death on the cross paved the way for countless believers to receive eternal life by believing in His death and resurrection.
‘And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us’ (1 John 5:14)
‘The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry’ (Psalm 34:15)
‘Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working’ (James 5:16)
Prayer and Bible Study (4:30pm)

Bible Study
The Bible is the only source of knowledge on how to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the only source of divine revelation and power that can sustain you as a Christian in your walk with God. We should read and study the Bible because it is God’s Word to us. The Bible is literally ‘God-breathed’ (2 Timothy 3:16). In other words, it is God’s very words to us.
‘Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him'”‘ (John 14:23)
